NOVEMBER | Month in Photographs

Well hasn't November flown by? It's so weird to think it will be 2015 in a couple of weeks.
I haven't posted since this last post, but this is my November 'Month in Photos' post, which I really enjoy writing, and I think I'm going to do a 2014 'Year in Photos', possibly accompanied by a video on my YouTube channel.
November has been the month for work work work, but I did go on a exciting trip, and I have so many great plans for December which I cannot wait for!

Hope you're enjoying these posts,
let me know what your favourite memory of November has been :)

(Bottom Two and Middle Right) This is probably the best thing that happened in November, that little trip that I was talking about was; I went on a school trip to Paris! It was for 3/4 days, and an art based trip meaning we went to lots of museums and didn't visit the typical tourist attractions which was really cool. My class are all students that are a year younger than me, but I got on with them really well and I met a really nice group of friends who I hope to keep in touch with. I took a lot of photographs and had lots of fun, apart from the rain it was a really scheduled trip in a beautiful city.

(Top Left) A little while after, the 22nd of November was my friend Carys' 18th Birthday Party, and she had a house party which was a little crazy but it was really good! I've known her since primary school and it was really nice to catch up with her especially as we don't go to the same college.

(Top Right) As I said at the beginning,
I hadn't taken that many photos in November because I've just been working all the time. This is a little random, but recently I took advantage of the 'Black Friday' sales and ordered quite a few bits online, in paticular Zoe Sugg's debut novel 'Girl Online'. She has always been one of my favourite YouTubers and I can't wait to read it later in December!

I know this month's blog post is a little short, but I have exciting plans in December which I'll be sharing with you later in the month with a similar post format :)

OCTOBER | Month In Photographs

Something a little different that I'd like to include on my blog more often. I love taking photographs, and I always like to take many on a daily basis, just for the purpose of remembering that day and creating memories. I love looking at other people's photography too, which is why I've decided to create a monthly series whereby I'll be sharing a few images that have been taken in that month and sharing them with you; kind of like a live Instagram with a longer description, hope you like it :)
This month I have done some quite exciting things but just haven't taken many photos, but here are a few of my favourites.
(Top Left) My friend Ruby (curly hair) it was her 18th on the 12th October and so she had a few people round for some drinks and things which was really nice :)
(Top Middle) At the end of September/Beginning of October, a group of friends from outside of college took me to TGI Fridays for a late birthday celebration. I had a cocktail (mojito) while I was out and it was so good and really nice to spend some time with them as I don't get to see them very often.
(Top Right) This was more recent (last Saturday- 25th October) I went to a university open day in Gloucestershire. It was so nice and my and my mum went for a nice hot chocolate afterwards which was so nice. We did a bit of shopping in Cheltenham aswell and it was a lovely day out.
(Bottom Left) This was a picture I took of my outfit on a weekday last week, me and my friend Hannah went for a coffee and a walk in the autumn leaves. We also took some pictures for our photography class which was nice.
(Middle Bottom) This was a couple of Saturday's ago, I had some errands to run, I went to the gym and ended up doing a bit of shopping in town which was nice. My Nike's are my favourite trainers to wear when I'm running around town because they're so comfy!
(Bottom Right) This was last night- Halloween- me and my friends went to see the film 'Ouija' in the cinema and it was really good, a really jumpy horror film. Then we went for a cheeky nandos which was great and ended my October nicely :)

October Favourites | Fashion, Beauty & Music!

As October is drawing to a close very quickly, I thought it was about time I showed you a few products and things that I've really been liking over this month. October has been super hectic (for me) and so I haven't had a lot of time to indulge in new products and relax/unwind. But there's been a few things that have been very helpful and useful for me.

1. MAC Lipstick 'Velvet Teddy'
This has literally been my holy grail lipstick over the past month. I cannot stop wearing it and I couldn't find a better nude lipstick than this in my opinion. This lipstick has recently been very hyped because
of Kylie Jenner's nude lips- this being one of her favourite lipsticks. I was actually gifted this for my birthday, and I can honestly say it's one of the best lipsticks I've ever used. At first, I thought it would be too dark of a lipstick for my light skin tone, but it compliments it really well. It's kind of a mix between a dark mauve/pink to a soft nude colour. My favourite part about this lipstick is it's a matte finish, it literally stays on the lips all day (including eating and drinking) and doesn't dry out which is really really cool and I'm extremely impressed.
2. Bleach London Hair Conditioner
I've had this conditioner for quite a while; it's not a recent purchase but throughout October I've really been drawn towards it. My hair has grown a lot and therefore suffers more from split ends and heat damage. I find that this conditioner works really well as a all over deep treatment. It leaves my hair feeling tangle free and very smooth. It's perfect for my frizzy/dyed blonde type and I will continue to use it throughout the next couple of weeks.

3. Oasis Leather Jacket
The next fashion favourite is a leather jacket, a wardrobe staple for me at this time of year. As the weather gets colder and the clothes get darker, this is my perfect opportunity to bring out my leather jacket. I bought this last year from Oasis in John Lewis, because I wanted a real leather jacket that would last me for years and years. I really like the simple silver detailing on the opening and the zips on the arm, I think that toughens it up a little bit and I much prefer it to gold hardware. It's a really cool piece that compliments a lot of the outfits that I wear and I've really been enjoying wearing it.
4. New Balance '574' Black Trainers
My final fashion favourite is a new pair of trainers. I bought these in late September, and I honestly cannot take them off my feet. Their on par with Converse trainers in terms of comfiness. I really like how they're all black, and I really like how the new balance label is very subtle. I was originally drawn to these because I wanted a new pair of 'winter' trainers if you like. These are more of a smart trainer, ones that I wouldn't wear with a dress or denim shorts for example. They fit really nicely and I think they're really really cool and sleek.

5. Chris Brown Album 'X'
This is my last favourite; a music favourite. I've always been a fan of Chris Brown's music, but his new album is literally on another level. I literally listen to it every single day on Spotify. His music is so easy to pick up on and listen to, I love the whole image of him in general. Some of my favourite tracks would be 'Add me In', 'X', 'Stereotype' and 'Drunk Texting'. If you like classic soul/R&B and a bit of hip hop, then this is the perfect album for you.

I ♡ Autumn/Fall Tag!

Autumn is passing by so swiftly, it is my favourite season of the year. From the changing colour of the leaves, to the cinnamon and pumpkin scents of candles and drinks, and the bursting fashion filled with shades of berry, emerald and mustard.
I found this tag on line and thought it would be perfect to answer a few autumnal questions.

1. Favourite Autumn lip product/colour?
I don't necessarily have a particular favourite product, but I very much enjoy wearing colours such as red, berry and dark purple shades this time of year.
2. Favourite Autumn Drink?
Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks are the best thing to have at this time of the year, but I also really like Caramel and Mint hot chocolates, they are amazing!
3. Favourite Autumn Candle?
It would be either Lily Flame's 'Warm Welcome' or Yankee Candle 'Spiced Cinnamon'. I love both of these because they aren't too strong and overpowering but have that musky, warm, comforting smell to them.
4. What are you doing for Halloween this year?
I'm going to the cinema to see the film'Ouiji' which looks amazing. I'm also going to a Halloween house party on the Friday, which I'll probably go as a skeleton or a dead school girl.
5. Have you decorated the house Autumn/Halloween inspired?
I've decorated my room with a few bits and pieces, but I like to go all out with the decorations at Christmas. But yes I've got some pumpkin fairy lights around my window, some cobwebs and a door sign which looks really cool. Asda is a really good shop for Halloween decorations :)

(Weekend) Evening Pamper Routine ♡

This weekend, I had the perfect opportunity to film and blog about my pamper routine. This is a routine that I usually would carry out once a week (usually on a Sunday evening). The steps that I do in this just help me to relax and unwind, whilst preparing for the week ahead.

Typically, I'd unwind firstly by checking my social media on my phone, otherwise I'd get more stressed if I hadn't checked it. Looking through Instagram and YouTube whilst wearing your comfy clothes and drinking a cup of tea somehow feels very satisfying.
Then I'll prepare my body and get the products I need ready for my next pampering stage. If I wanted to go all out, I'd run a bubble bath. But I prefer showers because they're quick, easy and less time consuming.
I use a Soap and Glory Face Mask in the shower, before using one of my favourite combinations of shower gel and body scrub which I explain more about in the video.
Then I'll get out of the shower, and moisturise my body, my face and my nails. Tanning is also something I like to do on a pamper evening- not straight after though as I like the moisturiser to sink into my skin first.
I use the St Moritz tan and it's one of the best tans I've ever used! I'll put my pyjamas and slipper socks on, before winding down and snuggling into bed. Once I've pampered myself, I may go the extra mile and make myself a hot chocolate or another cup of tea. Then I'll usually decide to catch up on any work I need to do, or if I've missed a TV show or something on Netflix, now is the perfect time to watch it.
Also; something which I like to incorporate into my pamper routine once in a while is this website: (http://www.calm.com). It helps me to relax and de-stress; and pause for 5/10 minutes in the evening. I find it really calming and soothing as well. It's not long after that before I'm feeling sleepy and decide to shut my eyes.
Those are the basic steps that I take into making my pamper routine perfect. I list all of the products and talk in more detail about my pampering routine in my video which is linked below.

Recipe: Banana and Nutella Milkshake

The other night, I had a craving for a cold drink but with a chocolate fix. I came up with the idea of a nutella and banana milkshake. I usually have banana and nutella as a snack sometimes anyway, so I knew the flavours worked. And I'd just bought a new smoothie maker and some ingredients so why not satisfy my tastebuds.

This recipe is so simple, you can verify it and adapt it to your tastes and needs. This milkshake literally took me one minute to prepare and make, and it was pretty delicious!

INGREDIENTSHalf a banana
2/3 tbsp of nutella (depending on how much or little chocolate you want to add)
A handful of ice cubes
200ml of milk (skimmed)
2 tbsp of Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)

METHODChop up the banana, add other ingredients into blender or smoothie maker. Use on the lowest setting for about 40/50 secs until purely blended, pour out and enjoy!

♡ 1 SHIRT 4 WAYS ♡ BACK TO SCHOOL

I recently did one of these on my blog but with a skirt that I styled three ways, but I thought it would be cool to do a '1 shirt 4 ways' posts. I love reading posts and watching these types of videos because they're so handy for when you're going back to school or when you have a particular item that you don't know how to style.
I've really been liking writing these fashion posts, and I hope you bloggers have been enjoying reading them!♡
